Do I need design experience?+
Not at all. The design engine handles typography, spacing, contrast and layout. You choose the message and the look you like — or just say what you need.
How does the voice assistant work?+
Tap the microphone and say something like “Happy Sabbath post for Friday at sunset and a flyer for our health expo on May 12.” Advent Canvas makes each item with your brand, voice and templates, and shows them for review. Nothing is posted until you approve it. You can also type instead of speaking.
Can I trust the content my ministry shares?+
Scripture comes from the KJV and BSB text, never paraphrased by AI. Ellen G. White quotes are checked word for word against the official EGW Writings, with references. AI help is guided by fixed options (tone, audience, length) and instructions to keep the content biblical and Christ-centered. You review everything before it’s shared.
What does AI cost me? How do credits work?+
Free beta includes 50 AI credits and 2 AI sermon decks each month. Credits count requests, not designs or exports: a typed command costs 1 and can return up to 4 drafts; each newsletter draft adds 1. Browser dictation uses 0, recorded transcription uses 1, and voice-note analysis uses 1 more. Every retry is a new request; failed provider requests are refunded. Layouts cost 2 and week-long plans 3. Full AI sermon decks use a separate allowance. Templates, library content and manual edits use no AI credits; monthly download limits still apply. Monthly credits reset on the 1st (UTC) without rollover; purchased credits do not expire and are used monthly-first. During beta, credit packs are sandbox-only: 100/$5, 300/$12 or 1,000/$30 USD test prices, no real payment, and test credits cannot fund production AI.
Can I use my free ChatGPT or Gemini instead of credits?+
Yes — with a free Google Gemini key. Paste it in Settings and the assistant, captions, newsletters, voice notes and bulletin edits run on it without touching your credits. (A ChatGPT subscription doesn’t include API access, but you can add an OpenAI API key.) Audio transcription and full AI sermon decks still use the app’s AI for the best results.
Can our church secretary update the bulletin by voice?+
Yes. Open the bulletin and say things like “Closing hymn is 512, It Is Well,” “Add a potluck after church at 1 PM” or “Use a photo of a sunrise on the cover.” Everyday changes are understood instantly on the device for free, and every change can be undone with one tap.
Can I try it without signing up?+
Yes. The live demo opens a sample church with posts, a sermon deck, a bulletin and a flyer already made. Try the assistant, edit anything, and when you’re ready, create your own free account.
Can it post to Facebook and Instagram for me?+
